Yes. Sarang is fully offline by design — billing, inventory, reports, and even its built-in AI assistant all run entirely on your computer with no internet connection required. This is different from most billing and ERP software, which depends on a live cloud connection to function.

Sarang supports 50 business types out of the box, including restaurants and cafés, retail and general stores, pharmacies, distributors, clothing and footwear stores, hardware stores, jewellery shops, hotels, manufacturers, clinics and other healthcare practices, and a range of professional and service businesses. You pick your business type during setup and Sarang configures the right fields, workflows, and reports automatically.

Your business data stays on your own device — Sarang stores everything in a local database and AszureX has no access to it. There's no cloud sync and no server your data passes through. Sarang does send a small anonymous usage signal (aggregate, not tied to your business data) — full details are in the Privacy Policy.

The core difference is that Sarang runs entirely offline on your own device instead of depending on a live internet connection and a vendor's cloud servers. That means no monthly cloud subscription, no downtime if your internet goes out, and your data never leaves your computer. Sarang is priced as one small annual license per device rather than a recurring per-user cloud subscription.

13 languages, switchable any time from Settings with no reinstall: English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Indonesian, and Arabic (right-to-left supported). Some specialised service-vertical templates run English-only; every retail and product-based business gets the full language set.

Sarang ships with a local AI model that runs entirely on your computer, with no internet connection and no data sent anywhere. You can ask it about today's sales, low stock, or outstanding payments in plain language, and it answers from your real data using a fixed set of verified queries — it never invents numbers. It's currently available in English and runs CPU-only, with no dedicated graphics card required.

Sarang runs on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and works comfortably on modest hardware. 8GB of RAM is recommended if you plan to use the on-device AI assistant.
