Sarang Business OS Lite
Last updated: September 2026. By downloading, installing, or using Sarang Business OS Lite ("Sarang"), you agree to these terms. The in-app license agreement shown during installation is part of these terms.
These terms are the agreement between you and AszureX ("we", "us") for the Sarang Business OS Lite desktop application, its updates, and the license key that activates it ("Sarang"). By downloading, installing, activating or using Sarang you accept these terms. If you use Sarang for a company or firm, you confirm you can accept these terms for it. The license agreement shown inside Sarang during installation forms part of these terms; if the two differ, the one more protective of your data and your right to view and export it applies.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Sarang for your own business operations on the number of PCs your license key allows, for the period the key covers. You get a free trial of 100 days from the date you activate your key. After that, continued use of new-document features requires a paid annual license. Sarang is licensed, not sold.
You may not copy Sarang for others, resell, rent, lend or sublicense it, present it as your own product, reverse engineer it except where the law allows this despite this clause, remove or alter license checks, or use keys that were not issued to you.
A base license covers one PC: the shop PC that keeps your data. If you turn on the optional multi-user feature, other PCs on your own network can work on the same business at the same time. Each PC signed in at the same moment uses one seat, and the shop PC counts as one. Your license key states how many seats you have. A free trial allows two PCs so you can try the feature. Extra seats are bought for the same period as your main license and end when it ends. Using one key on more PCs than its seats allow is not permitted. Moving your license to replacement hardware is supported and does not need our permission.
The price of a one-year license is shown on our website when you buy: currently ₹6,999 per year in India and $149 per year outside India, with extra seats priced separately on the website. Prices shown are per license year. We may change prices for new purchases and renewals; a change never affects a license period you have already paid for, and we will show the price before you pay. Licenses do not renew automatically unless you set up a recurring payment with the payment provider yourself; we will not charge you without a payment you approve.
Prices for India are shown inclusive of all taxes at the time of purchase. If we become required to charge Goods and Services Tax (GST) or another tax on our license fees, we will show it separately from the price before you pay, and it will apply to purchases and renewals made after that date. Prices outside India are shown before any tax the payment provider collects as merchant of record. You are responsible for any tax you owe on your own purchase in your country.
Indian payments are processed through Razorpay. International payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record and legal seller for those purchases, and its name appears on your statement. Because you receive a working license key immediately and can try Sarang free for 100 days before paying, license payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or where we issued a key in error or charged you twice. If your trial or paid period ends without renewal, Sarang does not lock you out of your data. You keep full access to view, search, print, export and back up everything already entered. Only the creation of new invoices and similar billable documents pauses until you renew. Multi-user access follows the seats on your current key; without a current key, only the shop PC can be used.
We may revoke a license key, and stop it working, if it was forged, shared beyond the seats it allows, resold, bought with a payment that was reversed or found fraudulent, or used to attack or interfere with our website or services. We will tell you why by email where we have your address. Revoking a key never deletes or locks your own data; you can still view, export and back it up as described in section 7.
You own the data you enter into Sarang. It is stored on your own PCs, and we do not receive it. You are responsible for taking regular backups (Sarang has a Backup feature), for keeping your PCs, network and shared secret secure, for the accuracy of what you enter, and for keeping your own records as the law of your country requires. In multi-user mode, the PC that keeps the data must be kept safe and backed up; other PCs do not hold a copy. We cannot recover data from your PCs.
Sarang helps you prepare invoices, tax figures, reports, books and return files. It is not tax, accounting or legal advice and it does not replace your accountant. Tax rates, rules, forms and file formats change and differ by place. You must check every figure and every file before you file a return, pay tax or rely on a report, and you remain responsible for your own filings and payments. Sarang does not file anything with any government.
We provide support by email during the hours shown below and publish updates from time to time. Updates may change or remove features; we will not remove your ability to view and export your data. We do not promise that Sarang will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Sarang is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and the accuracy of any calculation. To the fullest extent the law allows, AszureX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, revenue or business, and our total liability for any claim relating to Sarang is limited to the license fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

In short, Sarang the application never sends your business data to us; a small amount of contact and licensing information is collected on this website to deliver your key and provide support. In multi-user mode, data travels only between your own PCs on your own network, encrypted with the shared secret you set.
Only AszureX issues license keys. A reseller or referral partner may introduce customers to us under separate partner terms, but cannot issue keys, change prices, or make promises on our behalf. If someone sells you a key, it must have come from us; keys sold any other way may be revoked under section 8.
You may stop using Sarang at any time by uninstalling it; your data stays on your PCs. We may end this agreement if you materially break these terms and do not fix it within a reasonable time after we tell you, or immediately for the misuse described in section 8. Sections that by their nature should continue (ownership, limits of liability, governing law) continue after the agreement ends.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will publish the new version here with its date, and give clear notice of changes that affect pricing, seats or your rights. A change never reduces what you have already paid for during the current license period.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a disagreement arises, please write to us first and we will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. If it is not resolved, it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. This does not remove any right you have under consumer protection law in your own country that cannot be waived.
